Introduction
Back in the day, I had a music player that would send what I listened to to last.fm. The main guy found me and must have liked what I listened to or hoped I liked his band. In any case, I did like his band, The Moses Gun.
They are rock, alternative, post metal/hardcore in a creative way. They remind me of my time in Baltimore, though they are a trio from Chicago. They are complex and simple at the same time. They have edge and heart. I listen to them quite frequently. Some of the tracks I have on my frequent playlists are (in no particular order):
The Air Inside Our House
Perfect Weather
Phlox
Crumble Away
Nicotine Refugee
The Ballad of Reuben Kincaid
Sadly, it seems, they are not putting out any more material. They do have most of their catalog on bandcamp.com (I think).
