It's interesting how they've come about, but first, what they sound like.  Basically, it is "pretty" vocals over heavy metal.  The metal tends towards thrash influences.  There are also some dance/electronica tendencies.  I think that is related to coming from the Japanese Idol scene.  The vocals are pretty solid, though you can tell they come from that scene too.  

Which leads to their story.  The 30-second telling is that the lead singer was "aging out" of the idol scene.  But she wanted to keep the band going.  And was backed by the production folks.  Which if not unique, seems very rare.  Over the years, they've been making a name for themselves.  There was a long hiatus at one point.  But they have made a name for themselves over the last few years, also doing many collaborations in the early 2020's.  

Anyways, I find them fun and easy to listen to.  Nothing too complex in the metal are.  And the dancy rhythms are enjoyable.
